St Patrick’s Day Party Theme Ideas
Luck of the Irish they say. Yes a four leaf clover or Shamrock is supposed to bring luck, have you ever found a real one? If you haven’t don’t despair they are very rare but that doesn’t mean you cannot have some four leaf clovers made out of cardstock, chocolate or painted on mason jars to bring you luck this St Patrick’s Day.
Understand the symbol of St Patrick’s day
For more than 1,000 years, the Irish have been observing St. Patrick’s Day on 17th March to honor the man who introduced Christianity to the Emerald Isle.
The word shamrock comes from the Gaelic word Seamrog, meaning “little clover”
The green which relates to St Patrick’s day is from the Emerald Isle as it represents it’s lush green foliage.

What do you serve at a St Patrick’s Day Party?
So traditionally for a St Patrick’s Day Party you serve corned beef and cabbage, Irish Leek and Potatoes soup. Oh dear this doesn’t seem like a fun party to me.
So I have a feeling you are going to want to serve yummy sweets and drinks at your party. Don’t feel like you have to go tradition, make your own traditions and make what you want and add a St Patrick’s twist to it.
I have been searching high and low for so really cool, yummy foods that you can serve at your party that I am pretty positive you are going to love.
Yum…. this cake would be my top pick to get started with, look how gorgeous it is and I am sure you are thinking oh dear that looks complicated.
It really isn’t as once you have the cake done and iced it, it pretty much is just adding macaroons, lollie pops, mint balls and anything else you feel you can add to make it all blend together perfectly.
Green drinks might look a little healthy or disgusting but if you make them in a cool mason jar or glass handled glass and add a few accessories then they will look very appealing.
