I love it when the kids wake up early on Christmas morning hearing the whispered and the pitter patter of tiny little feet heading into the kitchen. Tummies rumbling and excitement in the air. Fun Christmas breakfast is one of the highlights for us as we all get to join in this family tradition.
The Grandparents usually stay over so they are up early to see the kids and celebrate this wonderful day with us. We usually don’t plan what we are going to have we just decide in the morning with what we feel like. psst it is usually pancakes or waffles but sometimes it is healthy yummy fruit as my son is a huge fan of fruit.

Christmas Breakfast different from other days
What can I feed my child for Breakfast on Christmas morning? Well this is really up to you, but as it is a very special occasion then something a little different would be lovely for the kids.
Make them something they are going to eat as you do not want to spend all your time in the kitchen, you want to be out enjoying the festivities with everyone else.
Get everyone involved, if they want a fun yummy breakfast then let them help. Let them be involved crank the music up dance around have fun and make this a memory forever.
Show some pictures from Pinterest if you have some handy and ask them to choose between toast or pancakes, or waffles and eggs give them the choice but don’t end up spending all day in the kitchen. You want to get out near the tree and start unwrapping your own gifts.
So no matter what Christmas breakfast you decide on, have fun making it involve everyone, dance like no one is watching, sing like no one is listening and laugh like you have never laughed before.
Christmas is a time for family so enjoy the festivities and your family. Oh and your yummy Christmas Breakfast.
